India gets a Walk-Over on Day 2: Enters the knock-out stage

The boys in Blue are through to the Quarter-Final after getting the W/O against Indonesia on DAY 2 of the Junior Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Final Qualifying 2022, here in R.K Khanna Tennis Stadium, New Delhi, on Tuesday.

Team Indonesia is yet to get on the court as Australia and India both got free points on two consecutive days to make it to the next stage from Group A.

After the crushing defeat against India on day one, the Pakistan team could not do much better against the mighty Aussies, as the boys in Yellow comfortably beat Pakistan 3-0.

Day two was almost a repeat of day one where most of the winning teams managed to beat their opponents very comfortably.

Teams like Syria, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are yet to get the taste of a victory as they have lost all six matches in the last two days.

Australia defeated Pakistan : 3-0

India defeated Indonesia (W/O)

Group – B

Singapore defeated Malaysia : 3-0

Iran defeated Syria: 3-0

Group – C

Thailand defeated Sri Lanka: 3-0

Kazakhstan defeated Vietnam: 2-1

Group – D

Uzbekistan defeated HongKong: 2-1

Japan defeated Korea : 3-0
