Shruti Ahlawat and Max Batyutenko win ITF J4 New Delhi

Indian junior Shruti Ahlawat and Kazakhstan’s Max Batyutenko won their singles finals against Vaishnavi Adkar and Yuvan Nandal, respectively, to emerge champions in the singles category of the ITF J4 New Delhi event held from 22nd to 27th November 2021 at RK Khanna Tennis Stadium in New Delhi.

Ahlawat won her title in an enthralling three-set final 7-6 (4), 2-6, 7-5 while Batyutenko blew away Nandal’s challenge in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 to claim the title.

In the doubles category, Kazakhstan’s duo of Erkezhan Arystanbekova and Zhanel Rustemova defeated Indian team of Shruti Ahlawat and Ruma Gaikaiwari 6-2, 6-3 to take home the Girls’ doubles trophy. Among the boys, it was a battle of the top two seeded pairs where Indian top seeded pairing of Aman Dahiya and Rushil Khosla defeated Kazakh second-seeded team of Max Batyutenko and Artur Khairutdinov 7-5, 3-6, 10-8 to emerge champions in doubles.
