Kadhe-Castelnuovo win doubles title at $15000 KPIT–MSLTA ITF WTT Cup Men’s tennis championships

Local favourite Arjun Kadhe pairing with Switzerland’s Luca Castelnuovo won the doubles title at the $15000 KPIT –MSLTA ITF WTT Cup Men’s tennis championships being organized by MSLTA in association with Deccan Gymkhana and played at their tennis courts.

The second seeded Indo -Swiss pair of Kadhe and Castelnuovo  outplayed Irishman Simon Carr and American Alexander Kotzen 6-4, 7-5 in the finals.

The winner pair got $930 and 18 ATP points while the runner up pair got $540 and 10 ATP points.

The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr Kishor Patil VP MSLTA and President of PMDTA, MSLTA Secretary Sunder Iyer, Mr.Rajiv Desai, Jt. Secretary of MSLTA, Mr.Prashant Sutar, VP of MSLTA and Mr Vishwas Lokare Hon Sec of Deccan Gymkhana. ITF supervisor Sheetal Iyer and Ashwin Girme Tennis Secretary Deccan Gymkhana, Mr Abhishek Tamhane Hon secretary PMDTA,  Mr Prakash Tulpule and Dr Chandrajit Jadhav Exe Committee Members of Maharashtra Olympic Association were also present on the occasion.
