11 Indian Juniors to get ITF World Tennis Number added to their ITF profiles on 15th Sep

On 15th September, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) is going to add ITF World Tennis Number on to the profiles of 1000 junior players globally on the ITF website and among those, there will be 11 Indian Juniors.

This is following the successful integration of the ITF World Tennis Number on the ITF Player Profiles of 50 junior boys and 50 junior girls on itftennis.com in July this year.

The Indian junior players who are joining this new development in global tennis are Lakshanya Vishwanath, Nikita Vishwase, Pavitra Parikh and Shruti Ahlawat among Girls while there will be seven Junior boys, namely – Aman Dahiya, Aryan Lakshmanan, Denim Yadav, Manas Dhamne, Ronin Lotlikar, Vishal Gautam and Yuvan Nandal.

Each Number published on a Player Profile will link directly to worldtennisnumber.com and ITF’s educational video.

Over the coming weeks, the ITF aims to release more ITF World Tennis Numbers for junior players across the world and in India, in order to grow awareness of the platform, allow players to familiarise themselves with their own Number and promote ITF World Tennis Number on the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors, among other benefits.

The ITF World Tennis Number will be extremely important for junior players, providing them with a globally consistent measure while competing in their local environment, so that they can make informed decisions before they decide to travel internationally to compete. And because it is updated weekly, they can feel confident in its accuracy.
