Indian team off to play the South Asia Regional Qualifying for ITF Asia U12 Team Competition

Team India is flying off to Pakistan to participate in the South Asia Regional Qualifying event of the ITF Asia 12 & Under Team Competition 2021. The Qualifying tournament, organized by Pakistan Tennis Federation and sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Asian Tennis Federation (ATF), is scheduled to be held at PTF SDA Tennis Complex in Islamabad from 13th to 15th September 2021.
Representing the tri-colour in the Under-12 South Asia Regional qualifier will be Aarav Chawla, Ojas Mehlawat and Rudra Batham in the Boys category while the Indian Girls side will comprise of Maaya Rajeshwari Revathi, Harithashree Venkatesh and Janhavi Kajla.
Ashutosh Singh and Namita Nandan Bal are the coaches of the Boys and Girls teams, respectively.
The event will witness the participation of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and hosts Pakistan. Matches will be held on Hard courts with each Nation fielding a team of three players and a Coach in both Boys and Girls categories.
At the conclusion of the Qualifying tournament, two nations will earn their spot at the Finals of the 2021 ITF Asia 12 & Under Team Competition to be held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan during the week of 22nd November.
