ROHAN BOPANNA IN DOUBLES PRE-QUARTERFINALS AT THE FRENCH OPEN
Rohan Bopanna and Edouard Roger-Vasselin outplayed the local team of Benjamin Bonzi and Gregoire Jacq 6-1, 6-2 to the pre-quarterfinals of men’s doubles in the French Open on Thursday.
The Indo-French pair, seeded 13, and has lost only seven games in two rounds, would face the winner of the match featuring top seeds Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo against Roberto carballes Baena and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.
The other Indian pair of Yuki Bhambri and Divij Sharan will challenge the second seeds Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic, in the second round.
