PRAJNESH IN FINAL QUALIFYING ROUND IN PARIS

Prajnesh Gunneswaran outplayed Marcelo Arevalo of El Salvador 6-4, 6-1 to cruise into the third and final qualifying round of the French Open at the Rolland Garros in Paris on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old Prajnesh, ranked 183 and who had lost to Arevalo in three sets in their only previous meeting in a Challenger in Ecuador last year, will challenge the 13th seed Elias Ymer of Sweden.
The 146th ranked Arevalo had won two Challenger titles this season, including one on clay.
