CHIRAG DUHAN MOVES INTO SECOND ROUND OF ASIAN UNDER-14

Chirag Duhan beat Aryan Giri of Nepal 6-0, 6-3 in the boys first round of the second Asian under-14 tennis championship in Nonthaburi, Thailand, on Monday.

The two other Indian boys, top seed Udit Gogoi and the sixth seed Aman Dahiya had a bye in the first round.

In the girls section, Kristi Boro was beaten 6-4, 6-3 by Lok Shu Tang of Hong Kong in the first round, in which Renne Singla and Sanjana Sirimalla had a bye.
