Chandra Bhushan in both finals of ITF seniors

Top seed Chandra Bhushan got past Ajay Lakhotia 7-6(4), 6-0 in the semifinals of the over-55 age group in the ITF grade-4 seniors tennis tournament on Tuesday.

In the final, Chandra Bhushan will play Ajay Upadhyay who battled past Shashi Bhushan Sharma.

Chandra Bhushan combined with Shashi Bhushan to make the doubles final, and the duo will play Ajay Gupta and Naresh Yadav.

Over-35 (quarterfinals): Swarandeep Singh Dhodi bt Rahul Gupta 6-0, 6-0; Badri Vishal bt Vikram Kumar Agarwal 6-2, 6-1; Praful Arjeria bt Harish Bhojwani 6-1, 6-1; Deepak Marwaha bt Gujarathi Yati Sushil 6-2, 6-1.

Over-45 (quarterfinals): Laxmi Kant Tanwar w.o. Rajneesh Sharma; Rohit Rawat bt Mohit Garg 6-3, 6-0; Sandeep Yadav bt Sanjay Chauhan 6-3, 6-2; Shalabh Singhpuria bt Vishal Dawra 6-2, 6-2.

Over-55 (semifinals): Chandra Bhushan bt Ajay Lakhotia 7-6(4), 6-0; Ajay Upadhyay bt Shashi Bhushan Sharma 6-4, 7-6(3).

Doubles (semifinals): Chandra Bhushan & Shashi Bhushan Sharma bt Ajay Lakhotia & Ajay Upadhyay 6-3, 6-2; Ajay Gupta & Naresh Yadav bt Ajay Sankhla & TS Gambhir 7-5, 6-1.
