Wild card Siddharth Marathe wins Asian title

Wild card Siddharth Marathe beat second seed Vansh Nandal 6-4, 7-6(4) in the boys final of the Asian under-14 tennis tournament at the VAN Sports Club in Baliawas on Friday.

In the girls final, top seed Nandini Dixit outplayed Saumrita Jagatdeo Verma 6-1, 6-1. It was a double crown for Nandini, as she won the doubles title with Riya Sachdeva.

Boys: Siddharth Marathe bt Vansh Nandal 6-4, 7-6(4).

Doubles: Ayaan Arora & Harsh Fogaat bt Adith Amarnath & Samar Malhotra 6-3, 6-3.

Girls: Nandini Dixit bt Saumrita Jagatdeo Verma 6-1, 6-1.

Doubles: Riya Sachdeva & Nandini Dixit bt Vamika Sharma & Saijayani Banerjee 6-1, 5-7, [10-4].
