Suraj Prabodh beats Dalwinder Singh in final

Second seed Suraj Prabodh beat top seed Dalwinder Singh 6-3, 6-4 in the final of the Rs.100,000 AITA men’s ranking tennis tournament at the Harvest Tennis Academy, Jassowal, on Friday.

Incidentally both the players train at the Academy under the Serbian coaches. Interestingly, Dalwinder had beaten Suraj in the final of the Fenesta National championship two years ago.

It was a double crown for Suraj, who had earlier won the doubles title with Anuj Malik.

The results (final): Suraj Prabodh bt Dalwinder Singh 6-3, 6-4.
