Deepinder Singh Bains finds lucky loser Mandeep Yadav a hard nut to crack
Seventh seed Deepinder Singh Bains recovered from a slow start to beat lucky loser Mandeep Yadav 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 in the pre-quarterfinals of the Rs.100,000 AITA men’s ranking tournament organised by the Harvest Tennis Academy in Jassowal on Tuesday.
IN the quarterfinals, Deepinder will play fifth seeded Digvijay Singh Mehta who also endured a three-set to beat Alok Aradhya.
Six other seeded players, led by Dalwinder Singh and Suraj Prabodh, sailed into the quarterfinals.
In doubles quarterfinals, Amit Bzad and Kshitij Kamal beat fourth seeds Sawan Malik and Gajraj Sangwan 6-1, 7-5.
