Sharannya, Sudipta, Siddhant win MSLTA Annual awards

Mumbai, May 6: Sub Junior National Champions Sharannya Gaware, Sudipta Kumar, Siddhant Banthia, Mini Junior National Champions Gargi Pawar, Manas Dhamne, Vaishnavi Adkar were among the MSLTA annual award winners for their performances in 2017 -2018.

The annual awards were given away at the hands of Shri. Pravin Darade, Life President of MSLTA Sharad Kannamwar, President MSLTA Mr. Bharat Oza, Mr. Sunder Iyer Hon. Secretary MSLTA, Mr. Rajeev Deshpande Jt Sec MSLTA, Mr. Sudhir Bhiwapurkar, Treasurer MSLTA held in Mumbai

“These scholarships for players performances are a reward to players who have played for the country or have finished in top three in their respective events at the national and state level” said Mr. Sunder Iyer.

The top 3 players in each age group in the state were awarded scholarships worth over Rs. 10 lakhs.

Mr. Shreeram Gokhale were awarded MSLTA Best Tennis Official of the year 2018 while Ms. Jennika Jaison were honored Special Award for being selected as ball kid in the Australian

Special Awards were presented to coaches Hemant Bendrey, Sandeep Kirtane, Shrinivas Rao Kola, Kedar Shah and Aditya Madkekar for producing National Champions and for National Runner-up from Maharashtra.

Appreciation Awards were presented to clubs hosting international events in the state
