Indian boys start against New Zealand in Junior Davis Cup

The Indian boys have been seeded sixth and grouped with third seed Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia in the Asia-Oceania Junior Davis Cup under-16 tennis tournament to be played in Nonthaburi, Thailand, from Monday.

The Indian team of Divesh Gahlot, Sushant Dabas and Ajay Malik, with Sajid Lodi, will open its campaign with a match against New Zealand.

The top two teams from each of the four groups will make it to the knock-out stage.

The groupings:
Pool-A: Japan, Syria, Kazakhstan, China.
Pool-B: Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Korea.
Pool-C: Thailand, Pakistan, Philippines, Chinese Taipei.
Pool-D: Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, India.
