Sanjana Sirimalla gets past Vaishnavi Adkar
Fifth seed Sanjana Sirimalla stopped the fine run of Vaishnavi Adkar with a 7-5, 6-7(3), 7-5 in the girls semifinals of the ITF grade-5 junior tennis tournament at the Shanti Academy in Dehradun on Friday.
In the final, Sanjana will face Prerna Vichare who beat Renne Singla for the loss of five games.
In the boys event, Muhammmed Kaan Erel of Turkkey beat top seed Denim Yadav 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinal. He will play Chirag Duhan who bounced back from the brink of defeat to beat Nikhil NIranjan of the US in three sets.

Doubles (final): Zang Qianglin & Zhao Yimei (CHN) bt Jagmeet Kaur Grewal & Gargi Pawar 6-4, 6-4.
