Jeevan and Purav lose a tough fight in Dubai
The fine run of Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Purav Raja came to a dramatic end in the semifinals as the pair was beaten 6-7(5), 6-4, 12-10 by Ben Mclachlan and Jan-Lennard Struff in the $2,887,895 ATP-500 tennis tournament in Dubai.
The Japanese-German pair had earlier beaten the top seeds Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic 7-5, 7-5 in the quarterfinals.
The semifinal appearance was worth 180 ATP points and $43,600 for the Indian pair, which had earlier beaten Philipp Kohlschreiber and Fernando Verdasco 10-8 in the super tie-break of the quarterfinals.
