Madhwin Kamath beats Yu Zhang of China in ITF juniors
Madhwin Kamath beat Yu Zhang of China 6-1, 4-6, 7-5 to move into the boys second round of the iTF grade-2 junior tennis tournament in Kolkata.
He was joined by Dev Javia, Chirag Duhan and Krish Patel from among the other Indian players.
In the girls section, Jagmeet Kaur Grewal and Bhakti Shah wee the only Indian players to progress into the second round, as they beat Chao-Yi Wang and Wei Ning Fang of Chinese Taipei respectively.
