Anirudh Chandrasekar, Vijay Sundar Prashanth made semifinals
Anirudh Chandrasekar and Vijay Sundar Prashanth made the doubles semiinals with a 7-6(5), 6-4 victory over the Chinese pair of Jie Cui and Weiqiang Zheng in the $25,000 ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament in Anning, China, on Thursday.
However, the Indian challenge ended in singles as Nitin Kumar Sinha and Vijay Sundar Prashanth were beaten in straight sets by their Korean and Chinese opponents in the second round.
