Javia leads four Indian boys into last eight at the 2nd HCL Asian Junior Tennis Championship

Pune, October 24, 2018: Indian lad Dev Javia upset eighth seeded Thantub Suksumrarn Thailand 7-6(4), 6-4 while Unseeded Yasmina Karimjanova of Uzbekistan upset second seeded Himari Sato Of Japan 6-3 6-4 to enter the boys and girls quarterfinal at the 2nd edition of the HCL Asian B1 Junior Tennis Championship hosted by leading global conglomerate HCL organized by MSLTA and PMDTA under the auspices of the ITF, Asian tennis Federation(ATF) and AITA and played at the Deccan Gymkhana tennis courts in Pune .

In the second round fourth Siddhant Banthia outplayed Taiyo Hirano Japan 6-1, 6-2 , fifth seeded Megh Bhargav Patel was stretched nub Ki Lung Ng Of Hongkong 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 , sixth seeded Sacchitt Sharrma served out Sai Karteek Reddy Ganta 6-0, 6-4 , seventh seeded Mann Shah broke Digvijay Pratap Singh once in each set winning 7-6(5) 6-4 to make it to the quarterfinal

The Indian girls challenge ended with seventh seeded Jiaqi Wang Priyanshi Bhandari thrashing 6-0 6-1 , eighth seeded Mai Napatt Nirundorn Thailand cane back from loss of first set to oust Malikaa Marathe 3-6 6-0 6-3 to make it to the quarterfinal.
