ARYAN GOVEAS FIGHTS HIS WAY FORWARD IN SINGLES AND DOUBLES
Aryan Goveas fired 14 aces and saved setpoints in both the sets to script a 7-6(7), 7-6(9) victory over Michael Look of Australia in the pre-quarterfinals of the $15,000 ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament in Indonesia on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old Aryan later saved a matchpoint in the doubles quarterfinals in partnership with Courtney John Lock of Zimbabwe, to pip Justiin Barki and Matthew Romios 11-9 in the super tie-break.
