Vaishnavi Adkar in two finals in super series
Vaishnavi Adkar made it to the finals of both the girls under-18 and 16 finals in the AITA Super series junior tennis tournament at the CLTA Complex on Thursday.
Vaishnavi was quite forceful as beat Deepalakshmi Vanaraja in the under-18 event for the loss of one game, and blanekd Suryanshi Tanwar in the under-16 semifinals. She will play second seed Vanshika Choudhary in the under-18 final, and second seed Sanvi Ahluwalia in the under-16 title clash.
In the boys event, Deep Munim was beaten by Krishan Hooda in the under-18 semifinals, but made the under-16 final.
Sukhpreet Singh Jhoje fought his way past Jitin Kumar Chhetry 6-7(2), 6-4, 6-3 to set up a title clash against Deep, while Krishan Hooda will be challenged by second seed Sushant Dabas in the under-18 final.

Boys: Under-18: Krishan Hooda bt Deep Munim 6-1, 6-2; Sushant Dabas bt Divanshu Hooda 6-0, 6-0.
Under-16: Deep Munim bt Khush Sharma 6-1, 6-4; Sukhpreet Singh Jhoje bt Jitin Kumar Chhetry 6-7(2), 6-4, 6-3.
Girls: Under-18: Vaishnavi Adkar bt Deepalakshmi Vanaraja 6-1, 6-0; Vanshika Choudhary bt Kavya Khirwar 6-1, 6-1.
Under-16: Vaishnavi Adkar bt Suryanshi Tanwar 6-0, 6-0; Sanvi Ahluwalia bt Janani Ramesh 6-4, 6-1.
