Vaishnavi Adkar in semifinals of ITF juniors in Pune
Vaishnavi Adkar continued to fight her way forward and got past Sandeepti Singh Rao 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(9) in the girls quarterfinals of the Gadre Marine ITF grade-3 junior tennis tournament at the Deccan Gymkhana in Pune on Thursday.
In the semifinlas, Vaishnavi will challenge top seed Maria Sholokhova of Russia.
In the boys semifinal, Dev Javia will play Rostislav Galfinger of Kazakhstan, whom he had beaten in the final last week in Delhi.
