UDIT GOGOI SEEDED NO.1 IN ASIAN UNDER-14 TENNIS

Champion Udit Gogoi has been given the pride of place as the top seed in the boys section in the second tournament of the ITF Asian under-14 tennis championship to be played in Nonthaburi, Thailand, from Monday.

Udit will have a bye int he first round in a draw of 64. Among the other two Indian boys Aman Dahiya has been seeded sixth and given a bye in the first round. Chirag Duhan will start against Aryan Giri of Nepal.

In the girls section, Renne Singla has been seeded fifth and Sanjana Sirimalla seeded 10th. Both will have bye in the first round. Kristi Boro will start against Lok Shu Tang of Hong Kong.
