UDIT GOGOI OUTPLAYS NISHANT DABAS IN NATIONAL SUB-JUNIOR QUARTERFINALS
Second seed Udit Gogoi asserted his sound game as he beat Naveen Dabas 6-1, 6-3 in the boys quarterfinals of the National sub-junior tennis tournament at the CCI Courts in Mumbai on Thursday.
In the semifinals, Udit willbe challenged by Divesh Gahlot who bounced back from the bring of defeat to beat Dhruv Tangri. The other semifinal will feature Mohit BOndre against Sushant Dabas.
In the girls section, Sandeepti Singh Rao turned the table on Sharannay Gaware who had beaten her in the final of Road to Japan in Delhi last week.
Sandeepti will play Vipasha Mehra who put out Sanya Singh in a third set tie-break. The other semifinal will be between Sudipta Senthilkumar and Prerna Vichare.
