Rohan bopanna in doubles quarterfinals in the US Open
Rohan Bopanna in partnership with Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France made the doubles quarterfinals of the US Open by beating Jeremy Chardy and Fabrice Martin of France.
Chardy and Martin had earlier ousted the second seeds Henri Kontinen of Finland and John Peers of Australia, apart from Leander Paes in partnership with Jamie Cerretani.
In the quarterfinals, Bopanna and his partner will play fifth seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah of Colombia who had beaten Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and partner in the first round.
Divij Sharan in partnership with Artem Sitak was beaten in the second round by Lukasz Kubot of Poland and Marcelo Melo of Brazil in three sets.
