Rakesh Kohli makes doubles final in grade-1 Seniors event in Thailand
Rakesh Kohli in partnership with AJS Chhatwal of the US beat Hakan Gustafsson and Lennart Lof of Sweden 0-6, 6-4, 10-3 in the doubles semifinals of the over-60 section in the ITF grade-1 Seniors tennis tournament in Pattaya, Thailand, on Wednesday.
In the final, the Indo-American pair will challenge the top seeds Nick Fok of Hong Kong and Stephen Myers of Australia.
The second-seeded Indo-American pair had earlier beaten Bob Charlton of Britain and Michael Dunn of Australia 6-1, 5-7, 10-8 in the quarterfinals.
‘’This results will help me to get back into the top-75 of the world within one year of my meniscus surgery’’, said a proud Rakesh Kohli, the Chairman of Stag International.
