Prajnesh in semifinals in Anning Challenger
Defending champion and second seed Prajnesh Gunneswaran defeated Nikola Milojevic of Serbia 7-5, 6-3 to make the semifinals of the $162,480 Challenger tennis tournament in China on Friday.
In the semifinals, Prajnesh will play Kamil Majchrzak of Poland who beat Ramkumar Ramanathan 6-1, 7-6(4).
In the doubles quarterfinals, Sriram Balaji, seeded second with Jamie Cerretani of the US was beaten 11-9 inn the super tie-break by the Chinese pair of Yan Bai and Fajing Sun.
In the ITF men’s Futures in Kazakhstan, Sidharth Rawat and Manish Sureshkumar made the doubles final.
