Prajnesh, Mukund reach Challenger third round
Top seed Prajnesh Gunneswaran cruised past Nicolas Barrientos of Colombia in the second round of the $54,160 Challenger tennis tournament in Liuzhou, China, on Tuesday.
In the pre-quarterfinals, Prajnesh will be challenged by Tung-Lin Wu of Chinese Taipei.
In a similar Challenger in Australia, Sasi Kkumar Mukund beat Sebastiann Fanselow of Germany 7-6(6), 6-3 to make the pre-quarterfinals, after a bye in the first round.
In the ITF women's event in Tunisia, Humera Shaik qualified into the main draw, but was beaten in three sets by Selina Pichler of Austria.
