Paes-Ebden fight it out to reach Bengaluru Challenger semi-final
Indian tennis legend Leander Paes entered the semi-finals with Australian partner Matthew Ebden as they defeated third seeds and champions of an ATP Tour event last week (Tata Maharashtra Open) Andre Goransson of Sweden and Christopher Rungkat of Indonesia 7-5, 0-6, 10-7.
Today, the duo of Paes-Ebden will face second seeded pair of Jonathan Erlich of Israel and Andrei Vasilevski of Belarus in the semis at the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association Stadium in Bengaluru.
Paes is in his last year of professional tennis calling it “One Last Roar” and in the past two weeks have enthralled the home fans in his swan song.
