Leander Paes, Benoit Paire in quarterfinals in France
Leander Paes in partnership with Benoit Paire of France saved a set point to outplay Andrei Vasilevski and Andrea Vavassori 7-5, 6-0 in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the Challenger tennis tournament in France on Tuesday.
The fourth-seeded Indo-French combination will play the winner of two wild card teams in the quarterfinals.
In the ITF men’s Futures in Egypt, SD Prajwal Dev and Adil Kalyanpur beat NIklas Guttau and Lucas Hellfritsch of Germany 7-5, 6-0 in the pre-quarterfinals of doubles.
