Kunal Anand in quarterfinals in Cameroon

Kunal Anand fought his way past Diego Matos of Brazil 6-2, 6-7(6), 7-6(5) in the pre-quarterfinals of the $25,000 ITF men’s tennis tournament in Yaounde, Cameroon on Thursday.

The 26-year-old Kunal converted all the three breakpoints that he forced in the match. He recovered from being down 1-4 in the second set to force the tie-break, and pulled it off in the decider, converting the second match point in the tie-break.
