Kunal Anand beats Mohit Mayur
Kunal Anand sustained his strong game, as he stretched his progress from the qualifying rounds into the semifinals with a fighting 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory over former National champion Mohit Mayur in the Rs.250,000 AITA men’s ranking tennis tournament at the Harvest Tennis Academy, Jassowal, on Wednesday.
In the semifinals, the top seeded Kunal will face Suraj Prabodh who put out another former National champion Dalwinder Singh in straight sets.
The other semifinal will feature Jatin Dahiya against second seed Ishaque Eqbal.
Mohit Mayur made the doubles final with Ishaque Eqbal and will challenge the Sood twins, Chandril and Lakshit.
