Indian boys stay in contention with win over Indonesia
The Indian boys bounced back after a sluggish start, to overwhelm Indonesia 3-0 in the second league match of the Asia-Oceania Junior Davis Cup under-16 tennis tournament in Bangkok, Thailand, on Tuesday.
Ajay Malik and Sushant Dabas won their singles matches with considerable authority, but the Indonesians were able to fight better in the doubles that was stretched to the super tie-break.
The third seeded Indian team had lost tamely to New Zealand which got beaten 3-0 by third seed Australia.
While New Zealand will play its last league match against Indonesia, India will challenge Australia for a berth in the quarterfinals.
