Haryana players shine at the Yonex Sunrise MSLTA 13th Ramesh Desai Memorial CCI Under 16 Tennis Nationals

Mumbai, May 23: Chirag Duhan,, Dhru Tangri , Krishna Hooda and Karan Singh entered the boy singles semifinals, while Sanjana Sirimalla , Naisha Srivastav, Renne Singla, and Pari Singh entered the girls semifinals at the Yonex Sunrise MSLTA 13th Ramesh Desai Memorial CCI Nationals Tennis Tournament organized by Cricket Club of India and played at their tennis courts.

In the Boys section second seeded Chirag Duhan of Haryana outhit Local boy Anargha Ganguly 6-2, 6-1

while fourth seeded Dhru Tangri stopped the winning run of Mumbai boy Saheb Sodhi 6-3, 6-1 , fifth seeded Krishna Hooda of Chandigarh outgunned Chattisgarh's Ajay Singh 6-2, 6-0 , while ninth seeded Karan Singh of Haryana blanked MP's Ayushman Arjeria 6-0, 6-1 to enter the last four.

In the girls Quarter Final Round top seeded Sanjana Sirimalla of Telangana was strechthed by Gujarat's Diya Bhardwaj 6-4, 7-5 , Seventh seeded Renne Singla rallied past Gujarat's Vidhi Jani 6-0, 6-2

while eighth seeded Pari Singh of Haryana easily over came Reshma Maruri of Karnataka 6-1, 6-2 , in a match between unseeded players Karnataka's Naisha Srivastav stopped local girl Bhumika Tripathi 6-3, 6-1
