Divij Sharan makes Munich ATP final with Marco Demoliner

Divij Sharan sustained his good game in partnership with Marcelo Demoliner of Brazil, and the duo sailed into the doubles final of the € 586,140 ATP Tour tennis tournament in Germany with a 6-3, 3-6, 10-4 victory over Philipp Oswald of Austria and Mate Pavic of Croatia.

The Indo-Brazilian pair led 9-1 in the super tie-break before their opponents saved three match points as a face saving exercise.

In the Challenger in Savannah, Davis Cupper Sumit Nagal reached the quarterfinals with a 6-3, 7-6(0)victory over the American wild card, Sebastian Korda.

In the Challlenger in Seoul, Ramkumar Ramanathan in partnership with Brayden Schnur of Canada bowed out in the doubles semifinals. The Indo-Canadiann pair collected 35 ATP points and $2,160.

Jennifer Luikham was in fine form in Turkey, making the singles semifinals and the doubles final.

In the ITF Futures in Italy, Vijay Sundar Prashanth, seeded No.1 in partnership with Tuna Altuna of Turkey blanked the third seeds to make the doubles final.

Sixth seed Rutuja Bhosale lost in three sets to her doubles partner Eudice Wong Chong of Hong Kong, after being two points away from victory,in the ITF women’s event in Namangan, but the two combined well to make the doubles final.
