Divij Sharan and Artem Sitak in semifinals in Antwerp ATP
Divij Sharan in partnership with Artem Sitak of New Zealand made the doubles semifinals of the €686,080 ATP tennis tournament in Belgium, by outplaying Mackenzie Mcdonald of the US and Cameron Norrie of Britainn for the loss of three games.
In the semifinals, the Indo-Kiwi combination will challenge the second seeds Nicolas Mahut and Edourd Roger-Vasselin of France.
Prajnesh Gunneswaran accelerated his good run by outplaying Chung Yunseong of Korea 6-2, 6-1 in the quarterfinals of the $150,000 Challenger in China. In the doubles, Prajnesh in partnership with Arjun Kadhe was beaten in the semifinals by the second seeds Mao-Xin Goong and Ze Zhang of China.
Seeded No.1 with Antonio Sancic of Croatia, Purav Raja made the doubles final in the Challenger in Germany.
In the ITF women’s circuit, Ashmitha Easwaramurthi did well to make the doubles final with Yu-Ting Hsieh of Chinese Taipei in Egypt.
