DIVESH GAHLOT MEETS SUSHANT DABAS IN FINAL IN NATIONAL SUB-JUNIOR TENNIS
Divesh Gahlot overcame a sedate start to overcome second seed Udit Gogoi 3-6, 6-0, 7-6(5) in the boys semifinals of the Ramesh Desai memorial National sub-junior tennis championship at the CCI Complex, Mumbai, on Friday.
In the final, Divesh will challenge the talented and energetic stroke player Sushant Dabas.
Divesh and Sushant, however, lost the doubles finals as the top seeds, to Uddayvir Singh and Dhruv Tangri.
In the girls section, Sandeepti Singh Rao put herself in line for a double. She won two tie-breaks against Vipasha Mehra to set up a title clash with Sudipta Senthilkumar. In doubles, Sandeepti won the title in partnership with Vanshika Choudhary.

Boys (semifinals): Sushant Dabas bt Mohit Bondre 6-2, 7-5; Divesh Gahlot bt Udit Gogoi 3-6, 6-0, 7-6(5).
Doubles (final):Uddayvir Singh & Dhruv Tangri bt Sushant Dabas & Divesh Gahlot 6-3, 3-6, 10-8.
Girls (semifinals): Sandeepti Singh Rao bt Vipasha Mehra 7-6(3), 7-6(5); Sudipta Senthilkumar bt Prerna Vichare 6-0, 6-2.
Doubles (final): Sandeepti Singh Rao & Vanshika Choudhary bt Richa Chougule & Prerna Vichare 6-3, 6-3.
