Dilip Mohanty wins singles and doubles events

Kannan Sethu overcame stiff resistance from Sachin Patil 1-6, 6-2. 6-4 in the over-35 final of the ITF grade-3 seniors tennis tournament at the Bhilai Steel tennis complex on Saturday.

Dilip Mohanty won the over-40 title by beating Kohinoor Gowardhan and the over-35 doubels title with Kannan Sethu.

In the over-55 event, Nagaraj Revanasiddaiah beat top seed Chandra Bhushan 6-2, 6-2.

The results (finals):

Over-35: Kannan Sethu bt Sachin Patil 1-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Doubles: Dilip Mohanty & Kannan Sethu bt Deepak Marwaha & Sachin Patil 7-5, 6-4.

Over-40: Dilip Mohanty bt Kohinoor Gowardhan 6-2, 6-1.

Over-55: Nagaraj Revanasiddaiah bt Chandra Bhushan 6-2, 6-2.
