Anirudh Chandrasekar makes second round in Pune Challenger
Anirudh Chandrasekar recovered from a slow start to beat Timur Khabibulin of Kazakhstan in the first round of the $54,160 KPIT Challenger tennis tournament in Pune on Monday.
Anirudh will next play seventh seed Roberto Ortega-Olmedo of Spain.
Chandril Sood, Dhruv Sunish, Aryan Goveas and Manish Sureshkumar were the other Indian players to progress into the second round.
Meanwhile, Tejas Chaukulkar and former national champion Dalwinder Singh qualified into the main draw, beating Indian opponents, Yash Chaurasia and Suraj Prabodh.
