All India Tennis Association (AITA) has mentioned in the Registration form that the Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority should be within one year of the Child’s Birth and is MANDATORY AS THE PROOF OF DATE OF BIRTH. This has been done in order to prevent age fraud of Registered Players with AITA It has been noticed that the Birth Certificate submitted by some of the PLAYERS is not as per the rules, and hence the Registration has been rejected. AITA has now decided to give another chance to such cases to explain the reason for the delay in registration of DOB and Proof if any from hospital etc. Such cases are requested to forward your explanations/reason and hospital certificate which will be put up for consideration of the Management Committee to consider your request/explanation to take the final decision regarding the Registration of your ward.
