Sushant Dabas knocks out Romain Faucon of Belgium

Talented left-hander with a fierce fighting spirit Sushant Dabas kncoked out eighth seed Romain Faucon of Belgium 6-4, 6-2 in the boys first round of the Gadre Marines ITF grade-3 junior tennis tournament at the Deccan Gymkhana Club in Pune.

In the girls section, Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty outclassed seventh seed Chae Hyun Sim of Korea. Eighth seed Malikaa Marathe bowed out to Japanese Erika Matsuda rather easily, but joined another Japanese, Mei Hasegawa to beat the second seeds Shivani Amineni and Sharannya Gaware in the doubles pre-quarterfinals.
